The hotel offers nice rooms with a few minor inconveniences but still reasonably good value for a mid-week stay in York. The service is top-notch and the location is excellent for a quiet and comfortable stay. The dining experience is a pleasant surprise with delicious options included in the room rate.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and recently redecorated, although it was a bit too hot initially due to the radiator being left on. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, showing true Yorkshire friendliness without being overbearing. The location was perfect for my visit to South Duffield, offering a peaceful setting with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep.
